"I dyed my hair a spank color of purple today"

ecks-ah-lent: better than good

movies made during that time (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure,
Wayne's World...) best used with "most" as in

excellent plan"

[Possibly from obsolete poop, to break wind, from Middle English poupen, to blow a horn, toot, of imitative origin.]
Duder (n.) dood-er: derived from "dude", another 80's word that continues to hold value in my vocabulary. Just a substitute for "dude" in an excited sentence, ex.- "Duder! Did you see that bananna explode?!"
